Complaint / review text:
I have been charged S$88/- from my credit card on 21st April 2014 when I purchased a Subway Cashback on 19th April 2014 (and there was no credit of $9/- to my bank account; and Streetsdeal Ms Siva dispute I had scanned the receipt and sent which I did; and now she said the date already over).
I was unaware of the Premium Membership (and it was quarterly charging S$88/- when I managed to speak to Ms Siva after many long weeks and days of trying).
There was no email or any permission of agreement that I would be charged S$88/-; and it was scary that it was charged to my credit card (information already stored and captured).
I have written to Street Deal regarding my credit; and now regarding the unauthorised charge of S$88/-) but again I have not received any reply.
It is not right to charge without getting permission. I spoke to Streetdeal Ms Siva but she was nasty and insisted I agreed. And I asked to show proof of how that I did agreed; she replied that it was stated as Premium Membership of 48 hr.
This is definitely a scam way of charging. I sent an e-mail to [email protected] Sg and [email protected] Sg on the 21 May 2014 claiming for a total refund of S$88/- as well as the S$9/-. And I tried to contact Streetdeals but again it was recorded and eventually cut off.
Do you think that http://www.siac.org. Sg / can do something in this case?
