Was billed twice against my credit card for service that was discontinued after a day. Citi Card was advised that per match.com the service was provided, even though I forwarded to them a letter from match.com stating the service was discontinued. Here is how these scammers operate: once you subscribe, you are automatically signed up for your account to automatically renew. If you cancel your account (for which you don't get a refund), they discontinue your account immediately, regardless of how many months for which you have paid. And as to why I was billed twice, there was no explanation except a notification to Citi Card that service was used. Yes, I had access for one day. So I've now been billed twice for six month service which I could only use for one day. I will be filing suit in small claims court. Citi Card apparently cares much more for their vendor customers than their user customers.
