It was absolutely my worst online shopping experience!
I ordered R2-D2 lego robort and it was for my husband's birthday gift. So I did the order online 1 week ahead and I received the order confirmation email. But 4 days later, my order was cancelled while I didn't receive any cancelling order email until I checked order status on the website because I was wondering why I haven't got the shipping details email. At first time, I thought it could be my fault to type wrong credit card information. Then I ordered again online with correct information. But frustrating result came out again even worse! I saw the purchasing was successful on the web page and my credit card was charged 220$ simultaneously. However 4 hours later, order was cancelled again and I didn't get any notification to inform me the order was cancelled again!
I called USA customer service 4 times! And one of them told me he would help me drop off one previous cancelling order and make sure the other one work before my husband's birthday date! After hanging up the lego customer service, I called my credit card company to check my card status and information. And they were very confident to ensure me there is no problem with my credit card and lego do successfully charged money from my card.
Nevertheless, nothing changed and it was really embarrassing for me to give no surprise for my husband!
Now I just received a very short email to tell me " your order did not pass our security review and has been cancelled". But why did lego charge successfully at first? Why I was not informed when my order was cancelled? And 4 times customer service call are really ineffective!
