Tried every possible means to cancel an agreement, which is allowed per Verizon Ts & Cs, but they were unwavering, nonresponsive, unwilling to address my complaints and ultimately called myself and wife dishonest. Their Executive Relations representative was involved at this point and he could not point to anywhere in the contract where I had to cancel the contract "in person". That's because that clause does not exist. I presented proof of the legitimacy of each and every claim made to the BBB, yet Verizon managed to silence me. Beyond that, they charged me $1,484 in equipment that I would not pay then I offered to settle the amount. Verizon refused then finally tarnished my credit report.
I am a middle-class father, famiy of 5, homeowner and always pay my bills. I also stand for what is right so I cannot let them win. If enough of us consumers stood up to Verizon for such practices, they would have to change. I am one voice but I imagine at least some of the readers here may have similar stories to tell about them.
I will gladly share my documents, call logs, recordings and emails with anyone willing to support my cause.
