Complaint / review text:
I was using Xiamen Chn Meida Import and Export company to ship my patented invention to the US. I told my Export agent, Song Qing Ming AKA Steve whom I have been working with for years not to ship my invention out and he told me not to worry and that he wouldn't.
Later, after using Import Genius to check up on Xiamen Chn Meida Import and Export, I found out that they continued to ship out my invention without my knowledge after I repeatedly told them not to and they told me not to worry.
After I confronted Song Qing Ming about a patent infringement lawsuit, Xiamen Chn Meida Import and Export Co., decided to change their name to Wells Frame on the Bill of Lading and continued to export to the US thinking that they wouldn't get caught.
I looked up Wells Frame and it was located way out in the middle of China. The phone number wasn't a business number, the address couldn't be found anywhere and the government couldn't verify the company as well.
Xiamen Chn Meida Import and Export and Song Qing Ming/Steve don't really care about patent law in the US, so if you import goods in the US, watch your back. They will even use your mold to make a quick dime if they can, then change their name on the Bill of Ladings and address located in a region of China that would make it very difficult to trace or prosecute.
There are many companies you can use to watch your Chinese exporter such as Import Genius. Make sure you have a good Chinese lawyer.
So, if you do want to use an Export Agent in China, make sure to lock up your mold if you can otherwise it is free reign for them. I found out the hard way with Xiamen Chn Meida and Steve.
