Do not get ATT DSL internet service. The customer service is terrible.
I had a network of two working computers set up by my son. Every time there is a storm, you will lose your internet. Then they will tell you that you need to buy a new modem, or pay them for a service call for 138.00. Even though when you call Customer Service first, and they check the modem somehow and tell you it is not the modem.
I also went to Best Buy and purchased the modem they sell there labeled ATT. I plugged it in and got the same flashing red light then green. So how could it be the modem? So the guy comes out and cannot figure out how to get the two computers to work with the router.
He just says "It won't work, I don't know how he did it. Fire ATT and get Comcast or WOW or any other provider so you don't get ripped off. If my son can figure it out, maybe he should run ATT, since I am not impressed.
I will not be keeping this service and will be filing a complaint everywhere I can. Except of course to ATT, since they have no place to send a working email, and their sbcglobal.net does not work either.
