Complaint / review text:
I applied for my passport on 11/11/2014 at the Nigel branch. They informed me that it will take not longer than 3 weeks. I received an sms on 12/11/2014: Home Affairs: We acknowledge receipt of PASSPORT application for 7901030026084 on 2014-11-11. More info: 0800601190 OR A week after I applied I phoned the call centre nr on the sms to hear how things are progressing. Every week I phoned they say its at the different departments for finalising it. I phoned 2/12/2014 again, they said it shows that its been send with a courier on 27/11/2014, then I phone Nigel branch, they informed me its not been delivered yet. The following and thereafter every they I phoned nigel branch, when they haven't received it yet by the friday I phoned the call centre again, they lady then told me that there was something wrong with that whole batch that was supposed to be shipped on the 27th, apparently something was scanned in wrong. They gave me the nr for head office, and its no surprise that they do not answer there phones. The lady from the called centre opened a case for me, the nr is 1412010654 I was supposed to fly to zambia on 15 Dec. Hope you can help me. Next flight is friday.
