Complaint / review text:
I am a delivery driver, its how i make money, i had to order a part for my car which is broken down, it was supposed to be her within 3-5 business days, of course the expected delivery was the 5th day online.
so i saw the mail truck going down the road, figured id ask if the was a package for my house since my mail usually runs about 2 and it was 415 my mechanic needed this part so i can work! And his shop closes at 5
so i walk down the road and asked her if there was a package for my house
she replied in a rude ass tone" look, this isn't my usual route, if theres a package for you, it will get there when i get there." and said sorry, not trying to ruin your day, but thanks for being so polite to a paying customer, asked her name, and i think unfortunately made her upset as she sped off with all of that USPS cars might
well on the 5th day, no package
so instead of calling i walked to the post office and talked in person to a clerk, bad choice, he told me that what it says online is what he knows, i said well it says it will be delivered today and it hasn't even arrived at your facility, can you just tell me where my package is, if its arrived here ill just pick it up
he wouldn't even try to look it up instead he would rather argue with a paying customer
so the next day (6th business day) i called USPS and was on the phone for about 30 minutes for a person to once again tell me what i was looking at on my computer screen, and she added that the 3-5 business days is not a promise its a guess on when it will come, so i said what if i guess i didn't want to pay you guys, what if i guess everyone is full of crap that I've talked to, and how come every time i have ordered a package through this company it is never on time, i GUESS thats just a coincidence, no I'm not USPS i can promise you its not, i don't need to guess. What successful company runs off guesses anyway?
my thing is, if you're always late, with every package I've ever ordered, change your 3-5 day rule to 5-10 or we have no clue when your package will arrive, be honest at least.
i don't know of another business that has such a bad rep and is still in business
and i also can't understand how someone can be a federally affiliated company and be terrible with what services provide. It makes me feel like they don't deserve to have US in the USPS name, its a disgrace to the country
i will never use sups again, ill pay the 2 extra dollars to go through fed ex or ups
im tired of this problem happening again again and again and i will not have to worry about this in the future
USPS sucks, customer service is terrible, packages are always late, and i honestly don't know why they are still around, but I'm defiantly jumping on the boycott train with all the others
