I had difficulty processing my maternity leave claim with the UIF on their online portal and had not been receiving guidance via the call centre. I drove to the PTA head office with all my documentation to get assistance. It started with the team from the enquiry desk, who were patient as I explained my problem and were helpful in talking my query forward. They facilitated my being assisted by Denise Botha with processing my claim and updating all outstanding details on their system. Denise went further to send me emails with status updates on my claim and facilitated the fast tracking of the claim.
Thank you to the team at the Pretoria UIF office, the JHB office could learn a thing or two on how to render a service to the public.
