I am 68 years olds and have a chronic auto-immune condition which requires expensive biological drugs to keep the symptoms under control. Despite submitting all receipts and documentation to SARS, as well as a letter from my physician, SARS are not allowing a refund for my medication. As a result of this, I am awaiting a date for a dispute resolution meeting, but SARS has not set a date. I have not been able to have my medication since December 2013 because of this. My eyesight has been affected and I am petrified that I am going to have another stroke which I have had previously. How does one get SARS to respond?
