Sars refund - tax ref: 1495970145
I completed my e-Filing on the 9th July and uploaded all the relevant documents the very same day. Called the call centre and was advised that I had to submit other documents per hand which I did on the 15th of July. I called to check up on progress on the 30th after receiving a message from SARS on my e-Filing and was told no one can tell me whether my documents was received from the branch in Doringkloof or not or how long it will take to receive my refund. It now has been 4 weeks since submitting my supporting documents and no one at SARS can give me a straight answer. We are told to pay our taxes and do our returns but there is no client service and even if you speak to a consultant no one can give you any answers.
