2014/08/27/ Electricity supply disconnected by Landlord & Estate agent through -Pro Admin /
An agreement was in place between Remax Estate Agent - Nolan Geldenhuys that the electricity account would remain in the owners name and the account would be given to tenant for payment. Approximately a week before the first month end / supply was disconnected / tenant was informed owner did not notify his supplier that there was a new tenant. Tenant was awaiting account to be rectified and sent to me for payment. Tenant WAS NEVER INFORMED by Remax after this incident that the tenant needed to open their own account in fact tenant enquired about this when accepting property. Tenant was never informed by Pro Admin of the electricity account being opened to tenant. A notice was never delivered to property but the suspension notice was received today by the full time nanny who is always at the property. A suspension notice addressed Dear Owner/Tenant with TIPPEX used to erase amount and new amount written in pen. Is it legal to issue an account number 030158598 without a responsible person?
