I have never written a review before, but I hope this will keep other customers from making the same mistake. I purchased carpet plus installation from the Home Depot. When the installer (a subcontractor) came out one week later they were unable to install the carpet properly. There was a big bulging seam in the middle of the room. It took over 3 weeks and numerous phone calls to get the installer back out to fix it. Home Depot could not have cared less and customer service was horrible. When they came out they brought a new piece of carpet to fix the seam, but it was only enough for one side of the room and the color was darker than the previously installed carpet. They severely scratched up all the baseboards. Again no help from Home Depot. Since they make you prepay, they could not care less what happens with the project afterwards. I am now trying to get my money back to be able to hire a different company, or at least have some leverage in dealing with Home Depot. It has been over a month now and the new carpet looks worse than my old carpet before, and Home Depot does not care.
