Mr Munro (as a tenant with Nat. Letting since 01/02/2013 - 31/01/2014. I am the Landlord of the property and my Tenant informed me that they would prefer to rent directly from me - due to no service from National Letting.in the year they were renting through Nat. Letting, they never even visit the premises to check on matters outstanding. I gave Nat. Letting notice on 30/11/2013 on Tenant's behalf (2 months in advance as per contract) stating that Tenant will not renew with them and will rent directly from me. National Letting agreed that they do not have a problem. National Letting was supposed to do a Take back inspection which they never did unless all the unanswered calls made to the responsible person, Andre at Nat. Letting. They refuse to pay back his deposit to the amount of R8000.00 plus interest. They also blamed me as Landlord of contract breach stating that I should give 3 months notice. I did not; because Tenant informed me only end of November of their decision. My understanding was that the contract will carry on with Nat. Letting. I have paid their contract and commission fees in full for the year. Nat. Letting, Karen refuses to pay attention to this matter.
