Complaint / review text:
I have a kitchenaid (owned by whirlpool) refrigerator. It is a built in unit that cost almost 8k when purchased six years ago. A small electric board went out on the unit.in contacting whirlpool I was told that the board was not made any more and the only way to resolve my issue was to receive a prorated amount against the purchase of a new Whirlpool refrigerator. I was sent to a "review board" who got back to me within a couple weeks to relate to me I could purchase a new unit from them (I will never purchase another Whirlpool product ever again) and can get a 1,500 credit toward a new unit. So if you buy anything from these people don't expect it to last. Not only does it break but it is irreparable. Not to mention it is a racket. Think about it, they sell you an over-priced unit that to their own admission only last 6 years and then they hook you to keep buying from them. Crooks!!!
