Bought a new Trane a/c and had it installed by a local installer. Less than 6 months in the unit ran out of gas and required a new coil. The lack of gas meant the condenser unit was overworked. I had the installer out 3 times before it was running again. I contacted Trane's customer service to request a new condenser as in my opinion the one I have is faulty. I cannot get a response from Trane other than 'it has been forwarded to our escalation department'. I have written to Trane's holding company Ingersoll Rand but they have not responded either. Their ad 'Nothing stops a Trane' rubbish. This one did and their customer service is just as bad.
