Complaint / review text:
I had a lawn, tree, and shrub contract with Guardian Lawn Service. I have copies of my bills and payments to Guardian indicating that I have the services noted. Guardian sold out to TruGreen in June of 2010. At the end of June, beginning of July, TruGreen assumed Guardian's responsibilities to my lawn, trees, and shrubs. The payment for services had been made to Guardian.
I called TruGreen in early July because one of my plum trees and several shrubs looked like they were dying. I was told that TruGreen had not yet entered the newly acquired customers into their database and that I would have to wait for service. When I insisted, the agent told me she would send someone to my property. A week later, I received a written response that someone checked the tree and that there was noticeable girdling. TruGreen never addressed the dying bushes nor gave me any remedy for the tree. I e-mailed TruGreen several times and complained about my lawn, which also started to look as though it was diseased but no one addressed the lawn.
I only received a written note, again, about my original complaint regarding the plum tree stating that the tree was falling over. When I inspected the tree, it did not look as if it was falling over. No solutions were provided by TruGreen. When I called TruGreen's main office in Tennessee, I was told that TruGreen was not maintaining my lawn and I only had tree and shrub service. I sent e-mails to TruGreen with photos complaining about their service and they just ignored me.
