I purchased a new gas range, microwave oven, and dishwasher at Best Buy. A few weeks after having the appliances installed, the microwave would not shut off. I unplugged the unit and called LG. They would not send out a technician and told me to bring it in to the store for replacement, since it was new. I am experiencing multiple problems with my stove. The knobs are not stainless, and discolor and bubble.
The top finish is peeling off. The dishwasher is rusting (absurd!) on the outside stainless" finish. It never dries the dishes. I took out an extended warranty - why, I don't know. They denied, but said LG should take care of these issues with me. Any rusting, peeling, or chipping is not covered by any warranty, even the LG one. LG does not stand by their products.
