Complaint / review text:
I am a contractor who signed up to get leads in our area. We were told by the salesman that they currently had leads for us. We received leads for areas that were hours away. These leads were either for services we do not provide or were just too far away. When we were charged for these leads, we called SM to complain and we were treated very poorly. We talked to many people and when told that someone would call back, they never did. We cancelled our account, but could not get reimbursed for all the useless leads. We spoke with many different levels of management and they still would not even consider returning the money they took from us for a service they did not provide. They stole our money and they do not care. When I would call the leads to tell them that I could not help them, they would get very annoyed. I don't blame them. Everybody makes mistakes. Only the decent companies own up to them; ServiceMagic will not own up.
