I purchased a new Troy-Bilt mower from Lowe's in Opelousas, LA. On the second tank of gas, the engine stopped running. Then while restarting, the engine locked up solid. I took it to Lowe's in Opel where Mary, the mgr., said that it would have to go to Altaquip to be checked out. Then Danny from Lowe's in North Carolina said the engine stopped because of old gas. He said it goes bad in 30 days and that ruined the engine because of the ethanol. Then I contacted Nicole on the Briggs and S web page and she said they could not do anything because the dealer didn't say it was faulty. So here I am with a new Troy-Bilt mower that doesn't run unless I give them another 300 dollars to change the carburetor to fix a new locked up engine. Never again will I got to Lowe's or buy anything Troy-Bilt or Briggs and Stratton. So much for customer service.
