We were told that our refund was sent in the mail 4 weeks ago. We never received it and have been lied to by the apartment manager stating it was lost in the mail, they had the wrong address, and more.
It has now been 8 weeks and we have not seen a penny. NC law is that deposits are returned in 3 weeks! Is there not rights for tenants? Morgan properties has had many complaints about the way they treat their tenants, yet no one has done anything.
It should be equal for landlords and tenants. Money not returned in a specific timeline should be subject to interest and late charges. This is my money, Morgan companies should be fined for their negligence.
They are the worst company and have the worst apartments. Do not rent with them!
