Over the past year, I have submitted more than 10 written complaints with the rental agent at Seeff Properties, Gordon's Bay, regarding the unacceptable behavior of my neighbours, who are their tenants. Since the rental agent still seems unwilling or unable to resolve the issues after a year, I lodged an online complaint with the EAAB on 22 April 2015. No confirmation was received that the complaint had been logged, and I sent an e-mail to the EAAB legal department. On 22 May 2015, when I still had not received any response from the EAAB, I sent a follow-up mail. To date, no response has been received from the EAAB. Since neither Seeff Properties nor the EAAB seem to be able to resolve the issues, I am left with no other choice but to take legal action against the tenants. I assume that Seeff, as rental agents, gets paid for managing their tenants - which they are apparently unable to do. Thus, they will be held liable for legal costs incurred to have this issue resolved though a court interdict issued by a court of law.
