I visited cinema prestige with my boyfriend on Friday 6th February and was extremely disappointed with the service. Not only did it take ridiculously long to receive initial attention to place our orders, but again after doing so and waiting for our order to be served to us, it took a little over twenty minutes just to receive popcorn; popcorn which was not salted according to our request. After trying to fix the situation ourselves by looking for salt (which was nowhere to be found) we were told by a prestige employee to fetch the salt from the regular ster kinekor area. Which raised a rather disturbing question. How is prestige any different to normal ster kinekor cinemas apart from us paying more money?
This isn't the first time that we have received poor service from employees at cinema prestige. The troubling fact is that we attended the opening of cinema prestige and received superb service, after which we have witnessed a downward spiral of decreasingly unsatisfactory service, coupled with a No-care attitude and a general disregard for our feelings toward our negative experiences at ster kinekor Prestige.
