Complaint / review text:
After a previous complaint regarding the same transaction, this current complaint also deals with the purchase of tickets for a Bruce Springsteen concert at Nassau Coliseum for Monday, May 4,2009. Tickets Now sent me an email which states in writing that Tickets Now guarantees that you will have your tickets in time for the event and it is now less than 24 hours prior to the event and I still do not have them. I intended to take my tickets to work with me and go to the concert straight from work tomorrow (5/4/09). Since I work F/T, after leaving my home at 7 am tomorrow, I will be home before the event to pick up these tickets if they should arrive tomorrow.
Not having received these tickets by now is outrageous! I phoned Tickets Now and they advocate calling again and try to see if tickets can be emailed to me or going to the local FedEx office tomorrow to try to pick up the tickets. I cannot afford to spend my day of work investigating and tracking down these tickets. The customer service representative who I spoke with on the phone was not helpful. I expected him to guarantee that the tickets would be in my hands at the earliest possible time tomorrow.
The entire experience shopping for tickets with this company has been a nightmare. They have not been helpful or professional. After initially overcharging me by more that 50% the face value of the tickets, they are now making my receipt of the tickets not only inconvenient, but potentially impossible. What recourse do I have under these circumstances?
