I purchased tickets online through the Ticketnetwork website for Raheem Devaughn concert in Houston, Texas at the House of Blues. At the time I placed my order, tickets were $74 each with an additional service and delivery fees totaling $192.80. I punched the tickets and received an email the following morning to contact them regarding my tickets. When I spoke to the representative, she said that at the time I purchased my tickets, they were in the process of pulling them offline because they had sold out and offered me general admission tickets (standing room only) for a reduced rate. I didn't want the general admission tickets as I wanted a guaranteed seat. Nevertheless, my order was cancelled and I was told that I would receive a refund.
So I checked the website to see if the tickets that I tried to purchase were really indeed sold out and surprisingly, they weren't.in fact, the tickets were $100 more each. I feel that the price should have been honored since the tickets were not actually sold out but instead the price was hiked up. I purchased insurance which I thought would protect me from something like this. I feel that this company is a joke.
