I tried to sell 2 concert tickets on StubHub. I bought the tickets the day the concert went on sale, and found better tickets later on so wanted to sell these just to get my money back. A month later, the tickets sold and I was notified. Unfortunately, I wasn't near my computer and StubHub suggested they cancel the sale since I hadn't delivered the tickets the same day. StubHub then charged me 2x what the tickets were row in cancellation fees. $370!
I contacted them and they shrugged me off because policy states you have 24 hours to upload the tickets. The seats next to mine are on sale for only $180 so StubHub clearly is making a profit. So angry that I am now losing at least $200 when I sell these tickets now. The buyer was never in danger of getting to the concert - it's over 2 weeks away! I bought my replacement tickets last week and they still haven't arrived - double standards? Now that I know what happens, I'll at least give them ample time to get the tickets over to me before cancelling the order.
