To say House of Brides customer service is awful is putting it mildly. I placed an order for five bridesmaid dresses, was charged $551 on my credit card, and they never placed the order.
I made multiple follow ups with the company because I never received an order confirmation and no one seemed to know what was going on with the order. They would have to "email" someone to contact me. To make a long story short, it took a month to find out that the ENTIRE order was never sent to the designer because one of the dress styles was no longer available. I was never advised that the dress was not available until 29 days after I placed the order, and the only way I found out was from continuously calling and emailing with HOB asking for a status.
Then they had the audacity to say that the order being held up was my fault (yeah right) and they would not do anything to help expedite the shipping. So I cancelled the order and was advised in writing that I would receive a full refund on my credit card.
Sixteen days after being told this, I still have not received a refund and have had to dispute the charges through my credit card company.
