Absolutely horrible experience. First the consultant put me in the wrong size.
The alterations department told me there was no way they could do it. Since I had already paid for it they said they would exchange it for the right size. Of course they didn't have the size I needed so they gave me a size too small and wanted $400 to alter it. I took it to a local woman who charged me less than a $100.
When I bought the dress the consultant told me I could get it steam cleaned at no charge regardless if I chose them to alter it that the cleaning was provided with the purchase of the dress. When I took it in for the cleaning I was asked if alterations were made. I said yes and left the store thinking everything was good, 30 minutes later I received a call from the store saying since I had it altered somewhere else they couldn't steam clean. They proceeded to tell me that they would do it but I had to pick it up that day and in a couple of hours.
When I picked up the dress, I discussed with the manager the consultant's statement and was met with no help.
When I got the dress home it doesn't look like they did anything and I now see marks that were not there before. I would absolutely not recommend using David's Bridal for anything.
