I am NOT a former employee nor would I EVER work there. The way they treat their employees is TERRIBLE... I have a few family members that have worked for Winn-Dixie or other grocery store companies before BI-LO bought them out, for MANY of years. The stress they come home with, the continuous responsibility they are FORCED to do because they are title "sam" or "front of the house" manager and the ENDLESS HOURS THEY WORK 16 a day. The threats they get from corporate if they aren't doing something right and if there is 1 mistake they did they get FIRED without even an attempt of a write up especially if they don't have 1 write up. This company are CROOKS... They'd rather you work your tail off before scheduling people hours. They want FT employees working PT hours. Then if they are over their hours, lets say a cashier, they want you to cut their hours even more... WTF is wrong with this company? They don't care about their employees only their sales of product which is terrible product. They don't offer much organic food, their produce is disgusting, the stores look ran down and their poor employees have to suffer from the looks of their store, the white trash customers that come in DEMANDING everything known to man and then their OWNERS and CORPORATE offices so disrespectful and unempathetic towards their employees. I used to love shopping at their store until BI-LO bought them out. I will never step foot in that place. Oh and the whole BUY ONE GET FREE CRAP. You're not saving anything. They mark up the price for one that it totals in reality of two so in reality you maybe buying one and getting one free but you're really buying two for their up sale price. Pay attention people. Their fuel perks is a damn joke as well. Horrible place, horrible!!!
