Have a macys card since 1991 ran to $ problems, contacted Macys Customer Service
Xpland problem stated would make good faith payment monthly. Kept up with good faith payments lowered balance Hd nice credit limit. Macys drops credit limit to 100. Currently have under a 100 balance been in hosp missed payment charged $37.00 late fee. Their statement says up to a $ 35.00 late fee New credit card laws in effect state that late fees are to be capped at 25.00 contacted Macys after making payment requested late fee b removed stated new law in effect as of 2009 payment posted late fee not removed ANOTHER LATE FEE CHARGED TO MY ACCOUNT, Macy uses predatory practices and fees
Against their customers bewarethey are probably part of a bank that was caught up in the foreclosure epidemic and are now using predatory fees and charges againt the customer to help the bank recclaim or offset their losses from the foreclosure epidemic. Nasty nasty company need to go back to meier and frank procedures and policies.
