I ordered a DSTV explora on 28/11. It was advertised as deliverable within 1 working day. I received an email with confirmation of payment and an indication of 2/12 as the delivery date. On this basis I booked a technician to install the decoder. 2/12 came and went with no sign of the delivery and no word from Kalahari. On 4/12 I called Kalahari 3 times; spoke to Leanne, Shannon and Anastasia. The excuse was twofold, 1) they were awaiting confirmation from their payment partner - I had received confirmation of payment so this does not make sense, and 2) they had a backlog from their Black Friday sale - how is this my problem? They should not run a Black Friday sale if they do not have the logistics to handle it. All 3 call centre operators promised to revert to me with a new delivery date; not one of them did. When I requested to cancel the order I was informed it would take 14 days to refund my money!!! I am appalled at the sheer incompetence of the business and I shall never use Kalahari again. I intend to purchase the product elsewhere and sell the decoder, if I ever receive it from Kalahari, on gumtree, a website that actually works. I see many complaints abt kalahari today.
