I ordered a cake from the above company. My sons birthday party was on the Sunday and I wanted to collect it in the morning but they are not open on Sundays for collections. As I could not collect it on the Saturday I asked them if the cake will still be fine if I collected it on the Friday. They confirmed that it will all be ok as long as I put it in an cool and dry place that I did. On Sunday we took the cake to the restaurant where the party will be held and when I cut the cake it was off and pulling fine strings. All the children are there so I asked the waiters to please take it away and I had to order something else for the kids to eat instead of the cake. When I contacted dream cakes to tell them how unhappy I was they asked for the cake and said according to their system and procedure they need the cake back or they cant refund me. I feel that every complaint must be handled separately and not all the same. They have said they will give me a discount on my next order or free cup cakes. Seriously who will order from them again after that???
