Complaint / review text:
A buyer purchased an item from me - I shipped it to them - it came back to me. The address I had shipped the package to was verified through PayPal-the person has moved. It cost $15 to ship the package. I contacted the buyer, told them if they wanted the package shipped again - to their right address (they moved and did not update it) they would have to pay for shipping again.
A dispute was opened with PayPal - they found in favor of the buyer as they said that the buyer did not have the package. I asked about my protection through PayPal and their verified address system - they said that this was a one off situation and I was out the money and they would not refund the money to me. It does not make sense. The buyer used a wrong address - admitted it - and PayPal refunded them their money. This is a policy that needs to be changed..
