Complaint / review text:
I ordered on 23 Jan 2015 a Lowepro Pro Runner 300 which Kalahari advertised as R599 in their Month End Madness promo. Payment was made, the order confirmed with delivery 11 Feb 2015. On 27 Jan I received a mail stating first that they were sourcing the product then there was an error and they were cancelling the order. Apparently, so they state, the prices on their website were incorrect (I saw a Lowepro Hatchback for R399 that another customer complained about and Kalahari said that price never existed).
I contacted customer care as per the Consumer Protection Act and was told I would not be getting my bag. After receiving confirmation of my order I sold my old bag on the of Kalahari and now sit without one. Now I can't replace the same value, size etc as I believed in the too good to be true deal of R1400 discount via Kalahari's sale.
It's activity and I have contacted the Consumer Protection Act. Now I want to know how long my refund will take to be returned to my credit card (NO CREDIT OR VOUCHERS WITH KALAHARI) as comments from customers and Kalahari's suppliers on Facebook are exceptionally worrying. Do yourself a favour and read them.
