Complaint / review text:
I called Hirsch's Fourways branch (spares dept) twice in 1 week about ordering 2 x filters for my Black & Decker Dustbuster. On both occasions, the persons I spoke to promised to call me back within a day. This never happened. On the Saturday 17 January I called the branch to complain and was put through to a very smooth talking store "manager" by the name of Bradley. After providing me with his cell number, apologising for the lack of feedback and a lot of waffle in-between, Bradley assured me that he would handle my query.
Bradley committed to contacting B&D (whom he believes to be expensive and unreliable) AND PROMISED TO CALL ME WITH FEEDBACK ON MONDAY 19 JANUARY IRRESPECTIVE OF WHETHER OR NOT HE COULD SECURE AN ORDER FOR THE FILTERS.
I'm still waiting...
The Hirsch's staff are incredibly helpful when there is promise of a sale but that's where it ends. I'm a huge fan of Hirsch's but Bradley is tarnishing the branch and the brand.
