Complaint / review text:
I used my Costco executive membership reward check to renew my membership at the customer service desk. The cashier cashed out the check and laid the money on the counter $124 and then told me I owed her $110 for the membership renewal.
I handler her the cash. The following month I went to check out and was told I needed to renew. I told the cashier that I did a month ago. The membership manager said it showed me cashing my check but there was no renewal at that time.
She then said she would check with the accountant the following week to see if the drawer was over that day. Well, surprise, surprise. I was informed that the drawer wasn't over and that if I wanted a membership I have to pay another $110. No thanks.
I'll be going to SAMs club. Rip off, dishonest workers.
Their loss, I spend thousands of dollars a year there. I have no problem spending my money elsewhere.
