Complaint / review text:
I purchased a groupon and when I arrived at the vendor I discovered that it was cheaper to purchase the service ($12) than what I paid for the groupon ($21). So I went ahead and paid for the service out of pocket and contacted groupon to get a refund assuming they would be happy to issue it since the groupon was basically a rip off - they refused!
I was astounded! They suggested I give it to someone "worthy" (yes he actually used that word) as a gift. Hmmm... Who is worthy of a rip off groupon? I want everyone to know that groupon does not value their customers or make any guarantees that their vouchers are actually a good deal!
