It was my mother’s 83rd and probably last birthday, so on May the 3rd I ordered her and paid for a flower birthday cake to be delivered on May the 5th. What happened next was a disaster. I get a phone call from a person from another country not speaking very well English saying that they could not delivery the flower birthday cake I had ordered. Then I explained that I have paid for this and they needed to deliver this item.
I then received a call from a lady in Ohio. I explained the situation and she said no problem and she called the florist in my mother’s area and all was set. The flower birthday cake would be delivered on may the 5th by 5 pm. Sounds good right? NOT SO FAST!!! The flowers did not show up by 5 pm so I called 1-800-Flowers only to get another FOREIGNER telling me that the flower birthday cake would be delivered by 7 pm, HMMM. By 8 pm the flowers had still not been delivered and again I called and got another FOREIGNER that told me that my mom’s flowers would not be being delivered.
So now I'm very disappointed and even a bit angry because these liars left me no options. I had already missed my mother's 83rd birthday. 1-800-Flowers and all the other US Based companies that have outsourced their customer service abroad to foreign countries should be boycotted!!! Only spend your money with a company that still understands customer service in the us should be from the us.
