I haven't really had any bad experiences with the Hobby Lobby in Missouri City / Sugar Land until today. My daughter wanted the only product on the shelf, but it was missing a paintbrush and figurine, which was visible through the clear packaging.
I approached a worker walking by to ask if there were more in the back. First she ignored me, then when I approached another worker then did she call out "I'm here" and told me no. When I took it to check out and told the cashier the missing items inside, the same lady I asked before happened to be of leadership position. She told the cashier she couldn't give discount, so I needed to pay full price or wait another week when another can be ordered.
What person in their right mind would pay the same full price for a product that is defective. Making a child wait another week is the worst decision making. If there is another craft store nearby, I would have happily spent my money there.
She ended up picking another product, which was better and cheaper. It ended up being a teachable moment to not be affected by negativity and find a solution that makes more sense.
