I bought a bottle of Whole Foods brand multiple vitamins. I did not keep the receipt because every time I ever had to return anything, I never had a problem. The pills turned out to be abnormally large and minimally coated and they had relatively sharp edges. I took the first one and it got stuck in my throat. I tried everything and had to go to the emergency room because not only was it stuck but I threw up and got diarrhea from it as well as "the shakes". I got unbelievable heartburn issues for a week after.

After about 18 hours, the pill was sufficiently dissolved. When I brought it to return to Whole Foods, I told them the story and they turned a deaf ear and refused to give me a store credit. I spend about $200 a week there (Manhasset, NY) and I had not been informed of any policy change. I demanded to speak to the manager but they sent out a thug like person who also was totally deaf. Not only was I unable to get the credit, but the people I dealt with were cold and clearly didn't care in the least about me. I feel Whole Foods should remove this product from their product line.
