Art.com rips you off and is scummy! I ordered from them at the end of December and included in the order was a subscription to Architectural Digest magazine unless you opted out, filled out a rebate form and mailed the rebate form into the magazine company.
It seemed like a lot and I like that magazine, so I decided not to opt out to get back the $17 that was included in my order for the magazine. It never came. I had to call art.com three times - once they told me I had to allow 12 weeks and it hadn't been 12 weeks. After 12 weeks they gave me the phone number for Value Mags, so I called and Value Mags said art.com never submitted it.
I called art.com and they told me I had to have called Value Mags when I had placed the order (never said anything about that when I placed my order). Then the story switched to "we don't do that anymore and so it doesn't matter what we promised at the time of purchase, you aren't getting the magazine and we won't give you the rebate".
They are! Bad business practices - stay away!
