I have used Alarm Force Services for a little over one year.in June 0f 2012 I moved into a new home and transferred the service to the new location. Services provided were to include alarms and monitoring. After a number of months, I tested the alarm system and found that the monitoring service was not being provided, allegedly because no interface was made between the alarm system and telephone. As such, if an alarm were to be triggered, no checks would be made and no report to local police would be made.
Alarm Force failed to notify me that the monitoring service and subsequent notifications of authorities was not being provided. Based on this abject failure, I opted to pursue a more rigorous and responsive security system that would actually work as marketed from a competitive provider of services. I then notified Alarm Force of my intent to terminate services, who advised me I cannot do so, despite their failures to provide service as verbalized by both their technicians and their CEO in his consumer friendly television advertisements.
Alarm Force has stated that i must pay through 2015 and have shunned all responsibility as it pertains to monitoring, which, frankly was a primary motivator in acquiring their service. As Alarm force requires you to set up an auto-pay to them, they have the upperhand in totally discounting any responsibility to treat customers with integrity and customer focused methods. Clearly, do not believe their marketing hype, they do not care about service nor do they have any real concern about your personal safety.
