We ordered our bouquet over the phone after verifying the details. After speaking to the customer service rep, I elected to send the bigger deluxe arrangement.
We were assured they would be delivered that day, which was a Friday. Later that day, we received an email confirmation that the flowers had been delivered. We also were told that we had been charged an extra $5 for a bow we had not requested. Three days later, we spoke with the recipient and found that actually, the flowers had never been delivered.
We called Avas and they confirmed that the flowers were reported to have been delivered by the local florist. It wasn't until the next day (now 4 days later) that Avas had an arrangement delivered to the recipient. Even though we requested a larger deluxe arrangement, the arrangement that was delivered was even smaller than the standard arrangement shown online.in short, if we had not contacted the recipient we would never have known that the flowers were not delivered, the arrangement was not the larger one we requested, expected or paid for and the flowers finally arrived 4 days after the birthday they were to celebrate.
Avas did refund our money to make up for the problem. However, I will not be using them in the future.
