Wesley Berry Flowers ent me a confirmation specifying the correct date to deliver flowers for someone's birthday. Flowers were not delivered on the contract date. No answer to 1 phone call (left message with info) and 2 emails. Following day I sent letter cancelling the contract and ordered from another florist. Four days after contract date and 3 days after I cancelled, a florist called the intended recipient to say he was delivering flowers that day. I called and advised him the contract was cancelled and during the conversation have been told the following
1) Wesley Berry Flowers has such a bad name with local city florists, none of the florist wish to take their orders.
2) Wesley flowers asks florists to make up cheap, small bouquets and our florists then have problems with the customers since the flowers do not represent the amount they paid Wesley Berry Flowers. (My florist was asked to make up flowers for 37.00 CDN when I paid over $70 US),
3) Wesley Berry Flowers call in the order to the local florists AFTER the date the flowers were to be delivered, resulting in recipients complaining about local florist instead of Wesley Berry Flowers.
My florist got stuck with the order only because Wesley Berry Flowers sent in an order when the store was closed, so my florist could not reject the order within the 2 hour window he is allowed.
BTW, I still haven't heard from Wesley Berry Flowers, even though I have now phoned once and written 4 times. DONT ORDER FROM THEM, they will fail you and take your money.
