Complaint / review text:
I purchased a phone from Hisense, through Kalahari. The phone broke but it under warranty. As Kalahari are no more, I contacted Hisense directly. After a little back and forth they offered to replace my phone. The had then arranged and issued a credit to be redeemed at Takealot who sell their products. I was told I could go to the warehouse with my broken phone, give it in and receive a new one.
When I got there, no one could seem to track anything down, even with the documents sent to me by Hisense. I asked them to call Hisense directly which they did and they received confirmation of the transaction. Now at this time I had already been there for an hour when eventually things seemed to have been sorted out. I was told that Takealot were going to process the credit and I would be able to purchase the new phone right and and collect. After another 45 mins, while sitting there I get informed that actually they have to send the handset to the supplier 1st before issuing a credit? I just left upset and called Hisense again, even they cannot understand why this is so difficult. They have sent a credit to takealot and informed them to just give me the new phone?!?!
