Complaint / review text:
I shop the JoAnn in Redding CA. I am handicapped and wect to use the restroom the other day.
There was deification literally from floor to ceiling and in large quantities. It was an all female staff that day and no one wanted to clean the mens bathroom. I can understand not wanting to clean it, i would not have wanted to do that either but as an employee it would have been my responsibility to my employer and the patrons. I am unhappy with how JoAnns charges MSRP and then when they drop their price to a "SALE" its still higher than WalMart and Michaels.
Sales are posted online through my email and when I go to the store 100% of the time the store never has a clue about the sale and the prices do not match. I know the Department of Weights and Measure over sees this and it can result in fines levied and stores being closed. But, do I really have to go through that again and again to get store owners to follow the law? Wh put an item on sale when you post a coupon for that item if its purchased at normal price AND YES I do have the RIGHT to refuse your sale price and still use the coupon on the normal price of the item.
Might want to pass this along to your managers and staff and Stop baiting people to come to the stores thinking they are going to be able to use the coupon only to find those items on sale and dont meet the requirements of the coupon so pay full "Sale" price or go to another store. The 3 yarn providers here all carry different colors so I find it necessary to shop all 3 at times. But I have had such negative shopping at JoAnns that I will try anything else, even change the project, to avoid going there. And I convey my feelings and personal opinion to others who might listen.
Its too bad too as the staff here are pretty nice and helpful even if they are swamped.
Best thing about this joAnn location.
