Why bother?

22/07/2014 - placed an order for a La Pearla blue & white nautical purse & a La Pearla cream clifton bag. The website showed that there was stock of both items and the order confirmation stated that delivery would be 23/07/2014. When I called Kalahari to enquire as to what time my order would be delivered, I was told that there is no stock of the bag, that the item has subsequently been removed from the website & that an order has been placed with the supplier, but that no delivery date could be confirmed. I did not receive any notification from Kalahari regarding this - the website still states that the order will be delivered today. I was told that I could request delivery of my purse on 25/07/2014 - 3 days after the '24 hour' delivery period. Gayaat said that she could call me back in between 24 - 48 hours re: delivery of the bag. 48 hours? Seriously? Why offer items for which there is no stock and promise 24 hour delivery when neither of these is applicable? What a disappointment.
