Quick to double debit, not so quick to refund

On the 10th of July, I bought a text book from Kalahari. I entered one of my credit card's details and the Kalahari system displayed an error and said there was an error on the transaction, I then redid the transaction and captured another credit card's details. The transaction was successful. Immediately after I completed the transaction, I received two SMS's. The money went of both my credit cards.
I emailed Kalahari immediately and I was requested to send proof. I send proof that Kalahari debited the amount from two of my credit cards. I have been following up with Kalahari every day for the last 2 weeks and I have not had a response. I don't understand why Kalahari is giving such poor service. They should either credit my Kalahari account and refund one of my two credit cards. How difficult is that? Why is Kalahari reluctant to refund me?
