I have an advert with specials of cellphones from Makro valid from 24.06.2014 - 07.07.2014
On 05.07.2014 I went to Makro where Mapheko Motepe and Joseph Mooi assisted me as I wanted to S4 mini Samsung phone. They presented me with the pamphlet of specials they had available. On the S4 they had a special so I decided not to have to mini phone as the S4 had the following: 100 minutes, 100MB data, 100sms an additional 900MB which equals to 1GB of data a month for R359 pm. I have received 2 ridiculous bills. I phoned cell C and they said Makro never activated the 900MB per month. I phoned Makro and they say Cell C says that if they have to activate it now they will have to charge me more? But the special was done on the 05.07.2014, special promo ended 07.07.2014 and it clearly states R349 per month x 24 months for this deal. I agreed to a new contract with Cell C so I could benefit from this deal and now it is back and forth with Makro and Cell C. Who is taking responsibility. I signed for this contract as per advert and therefore I want this contract as advertised. R359 for 100 minutes, 100MB, 100 sms 900MD additional data for 24months. I have a copy of the phamplet with me.
