Complaint / review text:
I upgraded my contract and got a new LG G3 smartphone on smart chat2Gig contract.
The first day of use with the first call I noticed the speaker is distorting even on half level sound, you can hardly hear the person speaking and I switched to external speaker which is working.
I looked online and seeing this is a general issue with the LG G3. I phoned the store and they said they will replace the phone within the 7 day exchange warranty from LG but I am not allowed to use the phone any further. I refused to agree to this until they have stock to replace the phone which they did not have.
They said that they will have stock the following day which is 2014/10/17.
I phoned today (2014/10/17) to make sure the stock has arrived and the lady that answered said it is not there as I have to bring the phone in so they can send it in for evaluation before they can order the new phone. I requested to speak to Sulaiman which I spoke to the previous day, he said the new phone is in but he need to send the problem one in first. Also a bad attitude.
How is the service agreement that when you get a malfunctioning product that they can not evaluate it in store to replace it immediately?
